The Delta Belle

At eleven o'clock, in the Delta Belle's saloon, an old planter lost his family's house to a gambler on four aces. At midnight, as the boat made fast at Natchez, the gambler was found shot in his cabin. The house dealer counted the cards after the hand. One was missing.
