Terms
These are the terms for using Whodunnit Club. They're written to be read: if anything is unclear, ask us.
Your account
You need an account to play. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and choose a detective name that's fit for a public leaderboard: we may change one that isn't. One person, one account.
Free cases
Three cases are free with an account: one easy, one medium and one hard. We may occasionally swap which cases are free.
Buying a case
A single case costs $2.99 and is yours to play, and replay, for as long as you have your account, whether or not you're a member.
Membership
- Membership costs $5.99 a month or $49 a year, charged in advance and renewing automatically until you cancel.
- It includes every case in the library while it lasts, including each new members' case on its release day.
- Cancel any time from Settings → Subscription. You keep membership until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- If we ever change the price, we'll tell you by email before your next renewal, so you can cancel first.
Refunds
If something went wrong, a charge you didn't expect, or a case that wouldn't play, message us and we'll put it right. This doesn't limit any rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
Fair play
Play your own cases. Don't publish solutions, use scripts or extra accounts to climb the leaderboard, or try to get at a case's answers other than by playing it. We may remove scores, or close accounts, that break these rules.
Our cases
Every case, its story, characters and artwork belongs to Whodunnit Club. You're welcome to talk about a case you've played; please don't copy or republish it. All characters and events are fictional.
The service
We work hard to keep the club running and your progress safe, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve cases and features over time. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility to you is limited to what you've paid us in the past twelve months.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email before the change takes effect.
